Ken Cuccinelli

Acting Deputy Secretary in President Donald Trump’s Homeland Security Department, he's also a member of the White House task force on the coronavirus outbreak. Cuccinelli struggled to find a map showing the spread of the disease, so he appealed to Twitter for help. More informed followers suggested he check with people at the CDC or NIH, agencies Trump has singled out for budget cuts next fiscal year. Kenneth T. Cuccinelli, II was elected Attorney General of Virginia and sworn into office on January 16, 2010. Prior to serving as attorney general, he served in the Senate of Virginia from August 2002 to January 2010. Cuccinelli earned a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Virginia, a master’s degree in International Commerce and Policy from George Mason University, and his juris doctor from the George Mason University School of Law and Economics.
