Steve is Managing Partner of the Washington, D.C., office, Chair of the Government Affairs & Contracting Department and Chair of the firm’s Political Action Committee. His government/public policy experience includes working for The White House Office of Management and Budget, the Central Intelligence Agency, the Federal Trade Commission, and the U.S. House of Representatives. He also served as Chief of Staff to the Mayor of Omaha. Steve ran for the U.S. House of Representatives (R-Neb. 2nd Congressional District) in 1998. He was a political advisor to the George W. Bush for President campaign and has served as campaign manager for both mayoral and gubernatorial candidates. He was appointed to serve as the Nebraska Finance Chair for the John McCain 2008 Presidential Campaign Committee. He is a 2010 graduate of the Federal Bureau of Investigation Citizens’ Academy. In addition, Steve served as a presidential delegate to a White House conference, Helping America’s Youth, in 2005 and a presidential delegate to a private-sector summit on public diplomacy sponsored by the State Department in 2006.
