Rebecca Anderson became associated with Williams & Jensen in 1995 and became a Principal in 2002. Ms. Anderson represents clients before Congress and the Executive Branch on a range of legislative and regulatory issues. Ms. Anderson has over twenty years of work experience in the public policy arena, including positions in an intergovernmental organization, a political party, the Executive Branch, and the private sector. Prior to joining Williams & Jensen, Ms. Anderson was the Administrative Assistant for the Office of Legislative Affairs during the administration of President George H.W. Bush. She worked as a researcher in the Policy Department of the Council of State Governments; a Staff Assistant in the Senate Liaison Office of the Reagan White House; and in the Office of Public Liaison at the U.S. Department of Energy. Ms. Anderson also worked in the government affairs office of Texas Air and served as Assistant Director in the Office of the Co-Chairman at the Republican National Committee. Ms. Anderson volunteered for Bush-Cheney 2000, was a member of the Department of Commerce Transition Advisory Committee, and served on the White House Legislative Affairs transition team. Ms. Anderson is active in Republican politics and fundraising, and is a founding member of the Value In Electing Women Political Action Committee. Ms. Anderson also is involved in volunteering and fundraising for a number of charitable organizations, including serving as Finance Chairman for the Hope Street Kids Foundation in 2004 and 2005.
