He was president of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation from 2004 to 2006, and is currently a member of the Board of Directors. Mr. Adler has also variously served as general campaign chair for the Federation/UJA campaign, on the Planning and Budget Committee, as chair of the Administrative and Financial Management Committee, and numerous other committees in the Real Estate and Allied Trades Division. He was a founding member, with his wife, Judy, of the Young Adults Division (YAD), the forerunner of today’s under-40 division known as The Network. Mr. Adler has served as president of Temple Emanuel in Miami Beach and currently serves as chair of the Mount Sinai Medical Center Board of Directors. He has received the UJA’s Herbert H. Lehman Award for Distinguished Service and the Federation’s Stanley C. Myers Presidents’ Leadership Award in recognition of his leadership skills within the local Jewish community. Mr. Adler is active in the political community, founding NACPAC, a local pro-Israel action committee. He served as chair of the Jewish Democratic Council’s Political Action Committee. Mr. Adler is chairman and CEO of The Adler Group, one of South Florida’s largest real estate companies. Mr. Adler graduated from the University of Miami in 1973 with a degree in business administration.
