Ted Brown is responsible for the northern region of Noble Energy’s United States division. Elected senior vice president in April 2008, he previously served as a vice president for the same region since August 2006. He joined the company as a vice president of the United States Division in May 2005 when Noble Energy acquired Patina Oil & Gas Corporation. At Patina, Ted had served as senior vice president since July 2004. Previously, he spent more than ten years as director of the Piceance Basin asset and engineering manager for Williams and Barrett Resources. He also held various positions with Union Pacific Resources and Amoco Production Company. Active in industry trade organizations, Ted serves on the executive committee of the Colorado Oil and Gas Association. He is on the Board of Independent Petroleum Association of Mountain States (IPAMS) and was the organization’s Colorado vice president for several years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Wyoming.
