Arrizurieta has had an extensive career in both the private and public sector in many roles including an appointment by President George W. Bush to serve as the U.S. Alternative Executive Director at the Inter-American Development Bank, over 10 years of service to South Florida entrepreneur H. Wayne Huizenga where he served as a senior executive in various capacities at the Florida Marlins and Huizenga Holdings and years of service to U.S. Senator Connie Mack where he served as a senior advisor. Mr. Arrizurieta served as an appointee of Governor Jeb Bush to the State of Florida's Board of Governors which oversees Florida's 11 public universities and colleges and was appointed to the Florida International University Board of Trustees in June 2007. Arrizurieta, his wife Mari and their three children Alexia, Alec and Sebastian reside in Coral Gables and are all native Miamians.
