Director Emeritus of the Institute of Politics at the University of Pittsburgh, is also Professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work with a joint appointment with the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs and Urban Studies. His previous positions include dean of the School of Social Work at the University of Connecticut, personal advisor to Henry Ford II on urban issues, Secretary to the Mayor of the City of Pittsburgh and senior social planner for the Community Renewal Program in the Pittsburgh Department of City Planning. |
