Implemented a program to identify and train emerging youth ministry leaders in local urban, inner-city communities. During 2011, 55 participants from Houston, Los Angeles, New York City, Orlando and San Antonio completed their final three months of training.
In addition, 49 participants from Dallas, Detroit, New York City, Tacoma and Washington DC completed the first 12 months of their 15 month training cycle. And finally, the selection process was completed for 59 new participants from Cincinnati, Denver, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Seattle to begin their training in 2012. The curriculum was delivered through national conferences and local workshops to benefit persons in leadership positions working with at-risk youth in their respective organizations and cities. |
