Notes From 1993 to 1998 Jay worked in the US Government as a specialist on international trade law during the formation of the World Trade Organization, NAFTA, and APEC, and economic sanctions against Iraq. From 1998 to 2000, he served as a consultant for EDS working on a federal contract related to information security assurance. From 2000 to 2006, Jay was the chief privacy and security officer for Carlson Companies, a leading provider of travel-management services to the US Government. He founded MPC in 2006, specializing in global risk and compliance assessments, including the first privacy audit of the United Nations.
