Please join us in congratulating Dr. Miguel Cardona, Connecticut Education Commissioner, for being selected for US Secretary of Education President-elect Joe Biden! Dr. Cardona's outstanding job in the Meriden Public School, his experience in the State Department of Education, his passion and his dedication makes him the perfect person to lead the US Department of Education.
Dr. Cardona is also a former board member of our United Way and we could not be more proud! This is a proud moment for Meriden, for Connecticut and for Latinos in the US. We wish him much success in his tenure and we wish the best of luck to his beautiful family in this new adventure!
