PAMELA RUTLEDGE'S BIO:
Dr. Pamela Rutledge is an expert in media psychology--applying psychological science to media and technology design and use. She identifies and analyzes consumer narratives, needs and goals to build audience profiles, and strategies for customer engagement and data analysis. Rutledge writes and speaks on how to use storytelling in media to persuade and create meaning, the impact of social media on behavior, and she consults on a variety of media and technology projects. Dr. Rutledge uses the science of human behavior, emotion, cognitive and neuroscience to identify the drivers of purchase intent, meaning and experience. Clients include Warner Bros., 20th Century Fox Films, OWN, Saatchi & Saatchi, Vodafone, Children’s Hospital Boston, KCET, and New Leaders Council. Dr. Rutledge is Director of the Media Psychology Research Center and is faculty at Fielding Graduate University. Dr. Rutledge has published both academic and popular work and speaks internationally..
