• Strategy: I developed and presented a strategy to RTI senior leadership to expand RTI work in International health care financing and systems. This strategy proposed to leverage RTI’s deep expertise in US health care financing and systems work as a way to accelerate international work. As part of strategy implementation, I participated in a number of country missions and proposal development activities.
• Senior Technical Reviewer: I served as a technical reviewer on several critical RTI intellectual products including: State Innovations model chapters for a large CMS funded project, proposals to USAID/Washington, USAID/Madagascar, BMGF, GE Healthcare, USAID/Benin, and USAID/Indonesia.
• Senior Technical Writer/Key Project Staff: Wrote in whole or in part proposals for Global Health financing and systems work for clients: USAID/Philippines, USAID/Washington, BMGF, GE health care. I was bid as Principal Investigator and helped to write key technical chapters of a proposal for GE Healthcare to develop a monitoring and evaluation system for PHC. I was primary author on a successful proposal for a USAID Broad Agency Announcement on health systems strengthening, and participated in BAA workshop in Washington DC.
• Senior Technical Advisor: I participated in technical missions on health systems and financing in UAE, India, Indonesia and Malaysia including business development activities.
• Knowledge Management: I also developed and gave several seminars to RTI domestic health care financing staff on international health financing and systems issues.
