AAC&U worked to develop and launch the VALUE Institute in cooperation with multiple colleagues who joined in recognizing the importance of focusing on student and faculty work - in particular: hundreds of individual educators across hundreds of campuses, the State Higher Education Executive Officers association’s (SHEEO) Multi-State Collaborative to Advance Quality Student Learning (MSC) – now the Multi-State Consortium, the Great Lakes Colleges Association, the Minnesota Collaborative, and Indiana University’s Center for Postsecondary Research. In addition, several higher education funders have been generous in supporting the need for evidence of quality student learning - the U.S. Department of Education, and the State Farm, Gates, Spencer, Sherman Fairchild, and Lumina Foundations. |
