Declara Selected as Platform for California Educator Collaboration Network
Artificial Intelligence (AI) Powered Knowledge Community Unleashes Teacher-Led Innovation

PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Declara today announced the launch of Collaboration in Common, a state-wide educator collaboration platform built on its technology. Collaboration in Common is a public-private partnership with the California Department of Education and Californians Dedicated to Education Foundation. Collaboration in Common is a statewide online professional learning community and resource exchange for all educators in California. It is also California’s first initiative to support the U.S. Department of Education’s #GoOpen campaign that encourages states and school districts to adopt high-quality, openly licensed educational materials and resources that can be easily shared without cost and without violating copyright laws. Collaboration In Common will eventually serve all 500,000 teachers, educators and administrators for the state of California.

Select networks of schools and districts will launch the first learning community. In addition, a cohort of individual ‘Early Adopters’ will be invited to participate in the launch of the platform. Those interested can reserve places on CollaborationinCommon.org.
