Notes Dr. Lisa M. Lynch, of Cambridge, Massachusetts, is the William L. Clayton Professor of International Economic Affairs at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. Her current research focuses on the impact of training and workplace innovation on wages and productivity. She is a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research and Co-Editor of the Journal of Labor Economics. She has served on the Board of Senior Scholars of the Department of Education's National Center on the Educational Quality of the Workforce, the Expert Panel for the Department of Labor's Strategic Research Plan for the Workforce Investment Act, and the Academic Advisory Group for the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. Dr. Lynch received a B.A. degree from Wellesley College and M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in economics from the London School of Economics.
