In a 12 month Executive Fellowship with the San Jose Public Library, Lauren created a pathway to improve educational outcomes by engaging with students outside traditional classrooms at an early age. Lauren launched a technology-based platform for San Jose families to discover thousands of out-of-school activities, both at the library and in their communities. She worked to deepen strategic partnerships with key community-based organizations and innovative ways to capture and learn from existing pilots, programs, and partners.
FUSE Corps is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization that enables local government to more effectively address the biggest challenges facing urban communities. FUSE partners with civic leaders to identify pressing strategic challenges and then recruits entrepreneurial, mid-career professionals to serve in executive-level fellowships across local government.
