INITIATIVES
We have applied this proven core programming to the FastFWD initiative where we developed a new model for cities to foster social innovation, starting with the public safety space. We worked alongside the City of Philadelphia's Office of New Urban Mechanics and the Wharton Social Impact Initiative, as a result of winning a $1MM prize from Bloomberg Philanthropies Mayor's Challenge.
We are now applying this framework again against
climate threats in the Climate Ventures 2.0 program, as a part of the White House's Climate Data Initiative and with support from organizations like the Clinton Global Initiative, Rockefeller 100 Resilient Cities, NASA, and NOAA.
Finally, we are motivated entirely by serving the needs of social entrepreneurs, so we are also developing a set of impact evaluation frameworks including the Social Impact Projection model, distance learning tools and alumni services. |
