National Math and Science Initiative
On December 10, 2015, the National Math + Science Initiative (NMSI) announced its expansion into North Dakota schools with an investment of up to $13 million from ExxonMobil, on behalf of XTO Energy Inc. which helps to fund this work in North Dakota. Since this time, State Superintendent Kirsten Baesler and her staff at the North Dakota Department of Public Instruction (NDDPI) have been working closely with NMSI's team regarding the implementation of two of NMSI’s transformative programs throughout North Dakota: Laying the Foundation (LTF) and College Readiness Program (CRP). |
