The Kafka Brigade is an independent, action research organization comprising of action researchers in the Netherlands, UK, US and UAE. Its mission is to tackle the bureaucratic dysfunction (often referred to as Red Tape) which prevents citizens from accessing the services they need, constrains public servants to do their job, and limits public value. I co-founded the Kafkabrigade in 2005 (together with Jorrit de Jong & Arre Zuurmond), and acted as member of Board of Directors and senior adviser until 2011. |
