The Rhode Island Foundation
The Rhode Island Foundation is Rhode Island's only community foundation. The foundation works with philanthropic individuals and families who share its goals for a stronger Rhode Island.
Project Description
This grant will support the School Retool, a principal leadership development fellowship, created by IDEO and the Stanford University d.school with support from the Hewlett Foundation, that spreads Deeper Learning through a DIY approach. Fellows work within a change framework to do small, scrappy experiments in order to rethink how schools can best encourage students to build knowledge and skills critical to academic and life success. |
