Richard Benas

Rick has thirty years of experience with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, and is a partner in the firm, Saratoga Associates. He has extensive experience as a Project Manager for major environmental programs and projects. His most notable area of expertise is siting and impacts associated with development of power generation infrastructure, and in particular, green energy infrastructure. He has developed a national client base in the environmental arena. He graduated from the SUNY College of Environmental Science & Forestry in Syracuse, NY with a degree in Landscape Architecture.
