David Dornsife

Mr. Dornsife is chairman of the Herrick Corporation, a steel-manufacturing company in Stockton, Calif. Mr. Dornsife, 67, and his wife, Dana, 49, pledged $200-million to the University of Southern California, in Los Angeles, to support the College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences, which was then named for the Dornsifes. Mr. Dornsife graduated from the university in 1965 with a bachelor’s degree in business and serves on the institution’s Board of Trustees.
