Julia Gouw

Julia S. Gouw is President, and Chief Operating Officer of East West Bancorp, Inc. and East West Bank, as appointed on November 30, 2009. Ms. Gouw served as Executive Vice President of East West Bancorp, Inc. and East West Bank until her retirement at the end of 2008, serving as Chief Financial Officer until April 2008 and as Chief Risk Officer from April 2008 through the end of 2008. Prior to joining East West in 1989, Ms. Gouw spent over five years as a CPA at KPMG LLP. Ms. Gouw was ranked among the top 10 bank CFOs in the nation by U.S. Banker in January 2006. She serves on the Board of Visitors of the UCLA School of Medicine and Trustee of Saint John's Health Foundation.
