Mr. Yang received a BS CE, from Tang Shan Engineering College of Chaio Tung University, in 1943 and a MS CE, from the University of Michigan, in 1957. Mr. Yang’s professional achievements include serving as: • Chief Engineer & main designer of numerous unusual landmark structures, such as column free Moscone Center in San Francisco, the Rio Colorado Bridge in Costa Rica, the Caracos Hippodrome of Venezuela, and the Picturesque Kuan-Du Bridge in Taipei. His professional career involve the following accomplishments: • Design and construction engineering for Con-Shin Engineering Co. in the NW part of China- led by T.Y. Lin, 1943-1946 • Design engineer, section engineer for Taiwan Sugar Co. started with T.Y. Lin. 1946- 1956 • Design engineer for Harley Ellington & Day in Detroit, Michigan, 1957 to early 1959 • Design engineer for T.Y. Lin and Associates in Los Angeles, 1959-1960 • Chief engineer of T.Y Lin Kulka & Yang & Associates, 1960-1971 • Chief engineer, Vice President and Chairman of the Board of T.Y. Lin International, 1960-1991
