Diana Dooley

Dooley, the president and CEO of the California Children’s Hospital Association worked as a young, obscure aide during Brown’s first stint as governor, but this time around she will be at the center of implementing California’s leg of the federal health care reform law. Her appointment caught many in the Capitol by surprise, but she obviously had been on Brown’s radar for quite a while. And as HHS secretary, she will sit on the newly created Health Benefit Exchange Board, giving her influence over the health care market place.
