Pete Aguilar was elected to US House of Representatives in 2014, representing California's 31st congressional district. He previously was a member of the city council and ultimately mayor of Redlands City, CA. (2006 to 2014; mayor in 2010) Pete is a small business owner of his own government affairs consulting firm. He previously served as Director of Governmental Relations for a financial institution working with federal, state, and local elected officials. Prior to that, Pete was appointed by Governor Gray Davis as Deputy Director and later Interim Director for the Inland Empire Regional Office of the Governor in July 2001. Pete earned degrees in Government and Business Administration from the University of Redlands. He and his family have lived in Redlands since 1997.
