Aviva D. Budd currently invests in and manages commercial real estate. She was previously a Senior Vice President of Terremark Worldwide, Inc., a leading operator of network access exchange facilities throughout the world, providing connectivity and managed services in a secure environment with over 600 carriers, Internet service providers and enterprise customers, including U.S. government agencies. Prior to joining Terremark, Ms. Budd was SVP of U.S. Realty Advisors, a company engaged in structuring acquisitions and sales of, and providing asset management for, triple net leased real estate. She has also served as the Principal Investment Officer of the Combined Retirement and Trust Funds of the State of Connecticut, managing a $1.5 billion real estate portfolio, and as Senior Vice President of The Related Companies, Inc. in New York City, where she engaged in the acquisition of multifamily residential properties with Industrial Revenue Bond financing. Ms. Budd was a real estate partner at the law firm Squadron, Elllenoff, Plesent and Lehrer, now part of Hogan & Hartson, representing developers in the acquisition, development, and complex financing of office buildings, multifamily residential and commercial properties. She received a B.S. Degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Connecticut and a J.D. Degree, cum laude, from the The Harvard Law School. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She and her Husband, Martin, live in Stamford, Connecticut and New York City.
