Suzanne Denbo Jaffe is President of S.D.J. Associates, a pension fund consulting business. She previously served as a managing director of Hamilton & Company, a pension fund advisor to large institutions. Ms. Jaffe was also a managing director of Angelo Gordon & Co., a money management firm that specializes in arbitrage, bankruptcies and real estate and other distressed investments. She was formerly Deputy Comptroller of New York State and served as a trustee of the U.S. Social Security and Medicare Trust Funds. She was a partner of Century Capital Associates, a hedge fund, from 1971-1981. She currently serves as the Chair of JCF’s Investment Committee, the Board of Directors of Research Corporation for Science Advancement, CORO New York Leadership Center, the American Jewish Committee, UJA-Federation of New York and the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York. She is a former member of the Board of Olin Corporation, The Burnham Funds and Axel-Johnson Inc. In addition, Ms. Jaffe is a member of ArtTable, serves as Chairman of the Smithsonian Archives of American Art and as Treasurer of UrbanGlass. She also collects studio glass art. She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.
