Joel Cutler

Last August alone, Cutler sold three portfolio companies: GameLogic sold to Scientific Games, OLX sold to Naspers and Reveal Imaging sold to SAIC. Cutler also backed online travel outfit ITA Software (which may soon close a $700 million sale to Google) and Kayak.com, which just filed for its IPO. Other investments include ThingD (Facebook "for stuff") and GroupMe (group texting). Before cofounding General Catalyst Cutler cofounded leisure travel technology company National Leisure Group, ATM network provider Retail Growth ATM Systems (sold to PNC Bank) and Starboard Cruise Services (sold to LVMH).
