Kirac was the youngest daughter of Koc Holding founder Vehbi Koc, one of Turkey's largest conglomerates, active in energy, autos, durable consumer goods and finance. She died in September 2020 at age 79. Ankara-born heiress is youngest sister of magnate Rahmi Koc, head of family conglomerate Koc Group. Fluent in French and English, is former recipient of Woman of the Year award sponsored by university women's group in Turkey. Honorary Fellow of London Business School also named a library for herself at a university founded by her family. She can only communicate using her eyes; she has ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), also known as Lou Gherig's disease.
