Germán Larrea Mota-Velasco

Chairman of copper and silver miner Grupo Mexico is $6.3 billion richer this year on the back of skyrocketing metals prices, which drove up Grupo Mexico shares. Company revenues grew nearly 70% in 2010. Larrea and his family control 50% of the miner. His brother Genaro is vice chairman. German Larrea reportedly never gives media interviews or holds press conferences.
