Retired Dentist and Real Estate Investor
Dr. Ostrow is a retired dentist and founded the Ostrow Property Management, a real estate-development company in Los Angeles. Dr. Ostrow, 93, gave the University of Southern California, in Los Angeles, $35-million to endow its School of Dentistry. He earned his dental degree from the university in 1945, and went on to practice dentistry for 17 years before starting his real estate business. The university has named the school for him.
