Elizabeth Bolton Strickler, known as Lise, graduated from the Middlesex School and Yale College and received an M.B.A. degree from Columbia University. She was a financial analyst at Tri-Star Pictures Inc. in New York at the time of her 1987 marriage to Mark T. Gallogly, Her father was a managing director of Morgan Stanley & Company in New York. Her mother, Ellen Strickler was a financial planner. She currently serves as a founding member of the Three Cairns Group, a family office based in New York City. Following graduate school, Lise worked in investor relations for Tri-Star and Columbia Pictures and as an executive consultant for the Sony Pictures New Technology group. She now devotes her time to the public interest, focusing on issues relating to climate change, sustainable environmental policies for New York State, and access to education. Lise is a member of the board of trustees of the Environmental Defense Fund, Environmental Advocates of New York, and the Adirondack Trail Improvement Society. She co-chairs the Environmental Defense Action Fund’s board of directors and is also co-chair of the Yale Development Council. With her husband, Mark Gallogly, Lise has three daughters and lives on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.
