Daniel Sapadin is the chief financial officer of Owl Creek Asset Management, a hedge fund in Manhattan. He graduated from the University of Vermont and received a master's degree in tax from Baruch College. He is also a certified public accountant. His mother is a clinical psychologist in private practice in Valley Stream and the author of "Master Your Fears: How to Triumph Over Your Worries and Get on With Your Life" (John Wiley & Sons, 2004). His father retired from the New York City Police Department as a deputy inspector in charge of the Brooklyn South precincts. Mr. Sapadin is a stepson of Dr. Ronald Goodrich, also a psychologist.
