James was elected as Chair of Market Street’s Board of Directors in April 2009 and has served as a member of Market Street’s Board since October 1995. James also serves as an ex‑officio member of all of Market Street’s committees. Between 1999 and 2007 James was a General Partner of Megunticook Management, a Boston based venture capital fund investing in early stage media, communications, and technology companies. Prior to Megunticook, James worked for Corning Incorporated as a business manager in the Advanced Display and Telecom Products Divisions and began his career in corporate finance with JP Morgan in New York and London. James is a Trustee of the Corning Museum of Glass and St. Paul's School. He is also an Overseer of Shady Hill School in Cambridge, MA and a Director of the Triangle Fund. James received his B.A. from Harvard College.
