David Wittwer represents TDS Telecom as Chief Operating Officer and has been appointed to succeed current President, Jim Barr as CEO in 2007. During his 22 years with the company, Wittwer has been integrally involved in several key projects for the company. Among these include assisting the company with presentations to the investment community during the proposed equity carve-out of TDS Telecom in 1998, and preparing the company for the transition to changes in regulatory accounting rules for telephone companies in 1985. A certified public accountant, Wittwer holds a Master of Business Administration in Management and Quality from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
