He has also served as Chair of The Jewish Federations of North America’s Governance & Bylaws Committee. He is a past president of the Jewish Federation of the North Shore (Massachusetts), previously served as that Federation’s Campaign Chair and Planning & Allocation Chair, and is a Life Board Member. Mr. Remis has served on The Jewish Federations of North America’s National Young Leadership Cabinet, the ONAD committee, and on the boards of the Jewish Community Foundation of the North Shore, Temple New Tamid (Peabody MA), Temple Israel (Swampscott MA), the CJF and the Jewish Journal Boston North. He is also active in ADL, AIPAC and Israel Bonds. He is a partner in the litigation department of Goodwin Procter LLP, chairing the firm’s Intellectual Property Litigation Practice. Mr. Remis is a graduate of Bowdoin College with an A.B. degree in 1964 and received an LL.B from Columbia Law School.
