Richard entered private equity investing in 1981 after serving as Chief Executive Officer of FWD Corporation, which he took over during a period of significant losses and returned to profitability. Prior to heading FWD, Richard spent a decade in management and consulting, specializing in the turnaround of underperforming companies.
