John M. Nehra has been a DaVita director since November 2000. From 1989 until his retirement in August 2014, Mr. Nehra was affiliated with New Enterprise Associates (‘‘NEA’’), a venture capital firm, including, from 1993 until his retirement, as general partner of several of its affiliated venture capital limited partnerships. After his retirement in August 2014, Mr. Nehra remained a retired special partner with NEA and continued serving on the board of directors of a number of NEA’s portfolio companies. Mr. Nehra also served as managing general partner of Catalyst Ventures, an affiliate of NEA, from 1989 to 2013.
