Mark A Stevens

Mark Stevens spent more than two decades at Silicon Valley venture capital firm Sequoia Capital, which he joined in 1989 after stints at Intel and Hughes Aircraft. During that time the firm backed winners like Google, PayPal and LinkedIn. He is now a special limited partner. His first job, at 16, was as a cook at Jack in the Box in Culver City, Calif. He paid for most of his USC undergraduate degree with a combination of merit scholarships and savings from work. He now serves on the board of Nvidia and owns a minority stake in the Golden State Warriors NBA basketball team.
