Rosenfeld is currently Deputy Chairman of Rothschild North America, having served as Chief Executive Officer for eight years. He has been an investment banker for more than 25 years at Salomon Brothers, Bankers Trust Company and Lazard Freres, before joining Rothschild in 2000. Prior to his career in investment banking, Professor Rosenfeld was a consultant at McKinsey & Co. In his investment banking career, Professor Rosenfeld has worked primarily in the area of mergers and acquisitions, representing General Motors, Chrysler, ITT Corporation, Tenneco, Lotus, TRW, Thermo-Electron, United Airlines, TWA and US Airways, among many others. Professor Rosenfeld has served on several public Boards of Directors and is currently a Director of ContiGroup Companies. Professor Rosenfeld holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from New York University and is a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
