Diane is currently the Managing Director and CFO of Ryan Specialty Group in Chicago, IL. She is the former chief risk officer and corporate treasurer for the Aon Corporation in Chicago. Prior to joining Aon in 2000, Diane served as Vice President and Director, Office of Budget and Management, at the University of Chicago Hospitals and Health Systems and as Budget Director for the City of Chicago. Prior to that she served as Assistant to the Mayor and to the city's chief financial officer, and served as a member of Mayor Daley's re-election campaign team in 1995. She has also worked for the United States Department of Commerce and the U.S. House of Representatives. Diane is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago, the Executive Club of Chicago, the Financial Advisory and Research Committee of the Civic Committee of Chicago, the Metropolitan Planning Council and the Chicago Council on Foreign Relations. She received her B.A. in economics and political science from St. Mary's College in Notre Dame, Indiana in 1986, and her MBA from the University of Notre Dame in 1990. Diane, her husband and their children live in the city. She is a member of the 2001 class of Henry Crown Fellows at the Aspen Institute.
