Susan Tomasky has held significant leadership positions in the energy industry, government, and the Ohio business community for more than 20 years. Ms. Tomasky was a senior executive for 13 years at American Electric Power (AEP), one of the nation’s largest electric utilities, serving most recently as President of AEP’s transmission business, where she was responsible for the business growth strategy and management of AEP’s multi-state transmission business operations. She also served as General Counsel of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. Ms. Tomasky currently serves as a Director of Tesoro Corporation, a Fortune 150 company with independent refining and retail operations in the western and mid-continental United States. She is also on the Board of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland and has served on various community nonprofit boards. Ms. Tomasky holds a Juris Doctor with honors from George Washington University National Law Center in Washington, DC. She also is an honors graduate of the University of Kentucky in Lexington.
