Mr. Gunn joined the firm in 1972 and is now a Trustee of the Dodge & Cox Funds and a member of Dodge & Cox’s Investment Policy Committee, Bond Strategy Committee, and International Investment Policy Committee. He is a shareholder of the firm, a Chartered Financial Analyst, and a Chartered Investment Counselor. Mr. Gunn, a former member of the Board of Governors of the Association for Investment Management and Research from 1993 to 1996, also served on Governor Pete Wilson’s Council of Economic Advisors from 1993 to 1998. He is currently a member of the Advisory Council for the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research and is Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Castilleja School. He earned his undergraduate degree from Stanford University in 1966 and received his MBA from Stanford Business School in 1972. Mr. Gunn and his wife, Cynthia Fry (a graduate of Stanford, Class of 1970) reside in Palo Alto, California. Their daughter, Lisa, graduated from Castilleja School, and their son, Matthew, graduated from Stanford.
