As CFO, Brenda Galgano is responsible for the entire financial operations and IT function of the Company. She led the integration of Pathmark in 2007, while continuing to grow the existing business operations successfully. Galgano is an avid supporter of philanthropic programs that affect women's and children's health issues, especially through the Company's sponsorships which include the Children's Health Fund, and she also participates in the Mentoring Program at Rutgers University. In her role as SVP, Merchandising and Supply & Logistics, Rebecca Philbert directs the entire merchandising and supply & logistics operation, which includes strategic sourcing, pricing, research and analysis. She has led the introduction of new initiatives, such as the acquisition of Best Cellars, the introduction of Starbucks into select stores and the addition of pharmacies in strategic store locations. Like Galgano and MacLeod, Philbert is an advocate for women's and children's health issues through the Company's philanthropic partnerships, especially the Waldbaum's Breast Cancer Fund, St. Jude's, the Muscular Dystrophy Association and the Children's Health Fund.
