Stefan M. Selig is executive vice chairman of global corporate & investment banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. In this role, he focuses on building and maintaining strategic relationships at the CEO and board level with important clients of the bank. Previously, Selig was vice chairman of global investment banking and global head of mergers and acquisitions at Banc of America Securities. Under his leadership, BAS advised its corporate and private equity clients on over $1 trillion of strategic transactions. Selig also had overall responsibility for BAS' global financial sponsors group and the technology, media and telecommunications groups and was a member of the Bank of America New York Market Leadership Committee, the GCIB Risk and Reputation Committee, and Chairman of the Fairness Opinion Committee. Selig holds a B.A. from Wesleyan University, a general course certificate from the London School of Economics and Political Science and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration. He is a member of the board of directors of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, where he serves on the finance committee
