Rob Bickhart began working in political affairs in 1976 with US Senator and Minority Leader Hugh D. Scott of Pennsylvania. Since that time he has served on the US Senate staffs of Bob Griffin of Michigan, John Warner of Virginia, Arlen Specter and Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania. Bickhart has served as Assistant General Manager for Public and Government Affairs for the Southeast Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA), Assistant Secretary of Labor in the second Reagan Administration, Deputy Director of Finance of the National Republican Congress Committee, Finance Chairman of Senator Santorum's successful re-election effort, and most recently a Government Affairs Consultant for Klett Rooney Lieber & Schorling. Bickhart has an undergraduate degree in Science from Pennsylvania State University and a Masters in Business Administration from Rockhurst College in Kansas City, Missouri. Bickhart served as Executive Director of Senator Santorum's leadership political action committee, America's Foundation, a federally registered political action committee dedicated to recruiting, training, and funding candidates for federal offices whose efforts are representative of a compassionate approach to conservative policies. He also served as the Executive Director of Santorum's 501 (c) (3) organization, Operation Good Neighbor, an organizatioin that seeks to foster relationships between corporate America and non-profit organizations, working creatively and successfully to provide real support and genuine reform to America's welfare dilemma. Currently, Robert Bickhart is the Finance Director for the Republican National Committee and remains the President of Capitol Resource Group.
