Barry Feierstein is executive vice president of sales and marketing and oversees all aspects of the company’s education lending strategy. He is responsible for product development and corporate, consumer and school channel marketing, as well as direct-to-consumer and school channel sales. Previously, Mr. Feierstein was responsible for Sallie Mae’s private loan development and strategy. Mr. Feierstein joined Sallie Mae in 2004 as part of the acquisition of Arrow Financial Services, where he served as vice president of marketing and business development. Before that, he served as CEO of RecovAR Group, a commercial collections firm, was a management consultant for McKinsey & Company, and built and sold a distribution company serving the retail industry and an office product company, serving both federal and private sectors. Mr. Feierstein received a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and history, summa cum laude, from Tufts University and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School. Mr. Feierstein serves on the Board of Montgomery County Business Roundtable for Education.
