Byron Pollitt retired from Visa Inc. in 2015, most recently serving as executive vice president and CFO of the San Francisco based credit card processor. Pollitt was the chief financial officer of Visa Inc., responsible for Visa Inc.'s financial strategies, planning and reporting, in addition to all finance operations and investor relations. Prior to joining Visa Inc., he most recently worked at Gap Inc. (a global specialty retailer) from January 2003 until September 2007 as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Before joining Gap Inc., he worked at The Walt Disney Company (a diversified worldwide entertainment company) from April 1990 until January 2003, most recently as the executive vice president and chief financial officer of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. Pollitt received a B.S. in business economics from the University of California, Riverside and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
