Nancy A Nasher

Nancy A. Nasher and David J. Haemisegger are co-owners of NorthPark Center, North Texas’ largest shopping center and one of America’s premier shopping centers. In 2006, they were honored with the Dallas Business Journal’s runner-up for “Business Persons of the Year” award for NorthPark’s $250-million expansion and renovation. David and Nancy serve on the Board of Directors of the Nasher Sculpture Center, a museum founded in 2003 by Nancy’s father, Raymond D. Nasher, which houses the Raymond D. and Patsy R. Nasher Collection of Modern and Contemporary Sculpture. Nancy is co-creator and co-founder with her father, Raymond D. Nasher, of the Nasher Museum of Art at Duke University and serves on its Board of Advisors and Collections Committee. Nancy is Founder’s Chair of the Business Council for the Arts (formerly the North Texas Business for Culture and the Arts). She also serves on the Action Team for Mayor’s Business/Arts Initiative; Executive Board and Board of Governors of the Dallas Symphony Association; the Board of Directors of the AT&T Performing Arts Center; the Board of Trustees of the Dallas Opera; the Princeton University Art Museum Advisory Council; the Duke University Arts Initiative Task Force; the Duke University Campaign Steering Committee, the Arts Executive Board at Meadows School of the Arts at SMU; Board of Advisors for SMU National Center for Arts Research (NCAR; Board of Advisors for the UNT College of Visual Arts and Design; Action Team for College of Visual Arts and Design Action Team for University of North Texas Campaign; and the Board of Visitors at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Professional memberships include Duke Club of North Texas, Duke University Alumni Association, International Women’s Forum, Greater Dallas Chamber of Commerce, International Council of Shopping Centers, Princeton University Alumni Association, State Bar of Texas, and The United States Supreme Court Historical Society. Nancy is a graduate of Duke University School of Law and Princeton University. In 1975 and 1976, she was the Associate Director for Newsroom with Jim Lehrer, KERA. She began her legal career in 1979 as an associate with Johnson Bromberg Leeds & Riggs, and was later General Counsel and Director of Leasing, Marketing and Retail Operations of The Raymond D. Nasher Company. Nancy was the founder, Chairman of the Board, and CEO of NorthPark Corp Realty Advisors Inc. Nancy and David live in Dallas and have three children, Sarah, David and Isabelle.
